The staff were extremely courteous and professional – someone even came up to my room with the Wi-Fi password and helped set it up. Rooms are modern with intelligent design, quality materials, and a high-end flat-screen TV. Complimentary still and sparkling water (a nice cold touch given the season) plus a tea/coffee maker. The bed was very comfortable and the AC distributed evenly. The bathroom matched the room's quality with a rain shower and modern temperature control. Toiletries were excellent, and bathrobe and slippers were provided. The star is the breakfast, served on the top floor where the restaurant is (though closed for lunch and dinner until late September). The light fills the floor beautifully, and every component was excellent – finally, scrambled eggs cooked and seasoned properly, with a good and unusual variety. Rarely have I seen smoked salmon, sushi, and even dumplings at breakfast. If you find dumplings odd, try them – they were the finest I've ever had. This is by far the best hotel I've stayed at in Milan. The value is absurdly high, though being new, prices may rise later. Right now it's an absolute steal – look for last-minute deals.”
